E911 QR Code Location Mapping

For accurate 911 emergency response, every Cisco phone needs precise location data. The QR Code Location Mapping tool makes it easy for technicians to verify and update phone locations by simply scanning a QR code displayed on any Cisco IP phone.

Why QR Code Location Mapping?

Exact phone location is critical for E911 compliance and emergency response. Traditional approaches like wire tracing and patch panel mapping are time-consuming and expensive. With QR code mapping, technicians can:

  • Quick Location Updates: Scan any phone to instantly access its location record
  • No Wire Tracing: Eliminate the need to trace cables through walls and closets
  • Easy Verification: Confirm existing location data is accurate
  • Mobile Workflow: Use any smartphone or mobile device to update location database
